Paz Digital Inc. Internet Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy governs all aspects of how Paz Digital Inc. ("Paz Digital") collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from all users ("Users") of this Website. This site contains links to other sites; please take the time to review their privacy policy before submitting personal information.
Collection of Data
Paz Digital collects personal information from users on a voluntary basis only. For each visitor to a web site, the visitor's computer reaches the site via a particular IP address. The Paz Digital servers automatically log this IP address.
A User's browser sets Cookies (when enabled) that contain small amounts of data on the Internet User's computer after a visit to any web site. None of Paz Digital's Cookies are used to perform "User Profiling".
Use and Disclosure of Data
Paz Digital does not sell or rent personally identifying information. Paz Digital does not disclose personally identifying information to anyone that Paz Digital is not authorized to do so. Paz Digital uses anonymous user data to create and report the browsing, purchasing and/or lead form completion activities of anonymous users.
Paz Digital reserves the right to release information on Users if compelled to do so by proper judicial or governmental authorities. Disclosure shall be limited to only to those that Paz Digital is compelled to disclose to. At present, all information processing occurs in Canada.
We use customer information to notify customers of system and service related issues including: system upgrades, scheduled maintenance, network downtime, newly added services or features and any other communication deemed relevant to the continuance of our service.
Domain registration information becomes public record in the universally available Whois database when a customer registers a domain name.
Paz Digital maintains the confidentiality of customer information when undertaking projects with other companies.
Security Measures
Paz Digital employs industry standard security measures to ensure the security of all data. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
Spam
Paz Digital does not intentionally send unsolicited e-mail messages that could legitimately be construed as spam. Paz Digital's hosting clients, advertisers, and publishers are held to the same standards (which can be found in the Acceptable Use Policy - www.pazdigital.com/aup.asp).
COPPA
Since you may not become a member of Paz Digital's network if you are under the age of 18, Paz Digital complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. Hosting clients, advertisers and publishers are also obligated to comply with COPPA.
If you inform Paz Digital that we have collected or received information from a child under 18, Paz Digital will delete such information from its databases. Paz Digital shall not knowingly distribute to third parties any personally identifiable information erroneously collected from children under 18.
Choice/Opt-Out
Paz Digital provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us by request at http://www.pazdigital.com/contact.asp.
Policy Changes
Paz Digital may find it necessary or be legally obligated to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this site.
